"Tailoring is back on the fashion scene. Classic staples are the obvious choice, but updated and re-modelled," says H&M's Head of Design Ann-Sofie Johansson. The tailoring her team have designed for men is sleek and worn with a punk rock attitude. Styling makes the difference, adding bold accessories to a layered look. The result is an inspiring collection with endless possibilities for personal expression and style.

Decorative detailing and uniform styles give a nod to Russia and Cossack influence. It's smart and it's on trend. The ethnic inspiration is decorative and glamorous folklore style, with a focus on shiny silk, rich velvet and gold, or stark and uniform-like. Check out the black astrakhan coat or short military grey jacket or long wool coat with classic Russian frogging detail - all look great as the outer layer of an outfit that is otherwise cool urban chic.

For maximum impact, start with a black polo-neck as a base layer and add a print shirt worn unbuttoned and cardigan. A smart pair of Brogues takes the look one direction; alternatively, a beanie hat shows street-cool panache.
