finc_thmblcaWhen Le Cafe Anglais opened they promised ‘affordable glamour’ – and that is what they’ve delivered. The glamour is in the room, the ambience, the scale of the menu and wine list, in the food itself. And, in the clientele.

They have introduced the Saturday brunch menu, which runs from 9.30am through lunch service and they welcome magician Nick Crown to entertain families feasting on Sunday lunch. Enjoy!

Cheap feasting for tough times.

rowleyAt times like these, you need Le Cafe Anglais more than ever!

‘Affordable’ comes in the transparently honest pricing of that menu, in the ridiculous bargains - the £3.50 hors d’oeuvres, the £4.50 chicken leg, the crazy, fully garnished £10 plat du jour and the best value (£16.50 for two courses) set lunch in town.

heavenly pudAt £20 for two courses, £25 for three, £30 for two courses with half a bottle of wine (125ml with the first course, 250 ml with the second) and £35 for three courses with a half bottle, they reckon you’ll want to come every night and save on the gas at home!

Family Fun. The scrumptious Saturday brunch menu, which runs from 9.30am through lunch service, is a great way to start the weekend. Dads can linger over newspapers and coffee while Mum and Kids can hit the shops or ODEON cinema. Look out for magician Nick Crown who entertains throughout Sunday lunch. Children are always beautifully catered for at Le Cafe Anglais.

PS. When leaving Le Cafe Anglais, don’t forget to leave your business card. All names go into their monthly draw to win a Magnum of Champagne J. Lassalle Brut Premier Cru NV.
